Background & Experience
 
Paul Miachika started his career in commercial real estate in 1980 with Royal LePage, Canada’s largest national real estate brokerage firm.  He specialized in industrial properties representing both tenants/buyers and landlords/sellers.  He started working with larger institutional clients as a listing agent both for the development and leasing of new industrial and business parks as well as the sale of leased portfolios.  In 2006 Paul moved to a newly formed firm called Avison Young that consisted of Vancouver’s top commercial agents and helped broker some very significant transactions including the sale of British Columbia’s largest distribution facility.  In 1998 Paul moved his family to Phoenix, AZ to work for Daum Commercial Real Estate.  In 2002 he moved over to NAI Horizon where he teamed up with Cathy Jones to form the #1 NAI brokerage team in Las Vegas and Phoenix.  In 2006 Mr. Miachika formed Sun Commercial Real Estate with Cathy Jones.  The company currently operates two offices, one in Las Vegas and one in Scottsdale, Arizona.
 
Professional Affiliations & Designations
 
Paul Miachika is a licensed broker in the state of Arizona and is Sun Commercial’s designated broker for its Scottsdale, AZ office.   He is a member of The Valley Partnership, previously served as a membership committee chairman for NAIOP and on the brokerage advisory committee of the Vancouver Real Estate Board.
 
Education
 
Paul Miachika earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of British Columbia with a double major in Finance and Urban Land Economics with a minor in Geography.
